Flathead Valley & Glacier
The crown jewel of Montana’s northwest. Glacier National Park draws visitors from around the world, but the surrounding Flathead Valley — Whitefish, Kalispell, Columbia Falls, and the shores of Flathead Lake — holds its own magic. This is a region of alpine lakes, wild rivers, huckleberry stands, and small mountain towns with serious character.
Western Montana
Missoula anchors a region defined by river valleys, dense forests, and a creative spirit unlike anywhere else in the state. The Bitterroot Valley stretches south toward the Idaho border. The Clark Fork and Blackfoot rivers carve through country that inspired Norman Maclean. From hot springs tucked into mountain passes to college-town culture and ranching communities, western Montana is where the wild and the thoughtful meet.
Yellowstone & Bozeman
Montana’s gateway to the world’s first national park — and home to one of the fastest-growing mountain towns in the West. Bozeman brings a mix of outdoor culture, food, and university energy, while the Gallatin Canyon, Paradise Valley, and Yellowstone’s northern reaches offer some of the most iconic landscapes in America. Big Sky Resort, Chico Hot Springs, and Livingston round out a region that rewards every kind of traveler.
